This one-day training course responds to the needs of energy lawyers, regulatory staff and employees of energy companies to stay abreast of the current regulatory regime of wholesale energy markets, and to develop a new set of expertise to apply REMIT’s provisions.
The course will cover:
- Definitions of market abuse under REMIT (market manipulation, insider trading)
- Transaction reporting under REMIT
- Analogies and overlaps with regulations applicable to capital markets
- Enforcement of REMIT by national regulators and courts
