Siemens Smart Infrastructure and E.ON Drive Infrastructure have signed a global framework agreement to expand and strengthen E.ON’s public electric vehicle (EV) charging network across Europe. The collaboration aims to accelerate the rollout of smart, high-power charging systems to meet the growing demand in several key markets, including Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the UK. Siemens will provide E.ON with its SICHARGE D high-power charging systems, which allow up to four charge points to connect to a single grid connection. This agreement aligns with E.ON’s goal of launching at least 1,000 new public high-power charging points per year.
