ENERGYCON is dedicated to experts carrying out research focused on energy and power systems. It has already become one of the central events for discussion on the application of electronics, instrumentation, information and communication technology to the energy industry. The conference is divided into the following tracks: smart cities and ICT, transmission and distribution, markets and policy for electricity and gas and energy conversion.
ENERGYCON provides an opportunity to scientists, professional engineers and engineering students to present their work, publish their results, exchange ideas and network for future scientific and industrial collaborations.
IEEE ENERGYCON 2016 is organised by the University of Leuven (KU Leuven) in partnership with IEEE Region 8 and with the support of the IEEE Benelux Section and the IEEE Joint IAS, PELS and PES Benelux Chapter. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings if at least one author is registered and if the paper is presented at the conference (in compliance with IEEE rules). The conference proceedings will be submitted to the Xplore Digital Library and appear in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) – an integrated index within Web of Science.
The IEEE ENERGYCON 2016 conference, covering a broad range of power engineering topics, will continue the tradition of the past editions organised in Dubrovnik, Florence and Bahrain. The fourth edition of the conference will take place in the historic city of Leuven, Belgium on April 4-8, 2016.
GSEF is a truly global federation and has therefore no main address in one country. If you wish to meet with one of us, please write to us.
