Prakarsa Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia

Established in July 6th, 2015, PJCI is a legal entity that received the principal license of association from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Decree on August 17th, 2015. Initiated by concerns from numerous parties towards the development of Smart Grid technology in developed countries and neighboring countries, Indonesians intellectuals from various well known University along with utility practitioners established an organization named “Prakarsa Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia (PJCI)” or Indonesia Smart Grid Initiative with the main objective to prepare technology, regulation, education and entrepreneurial institutions as well as forming systematic roadmap for Smart Grid implementation as a solution towards Smart Indonesia.

 

Mission
  • To initiate the preparation of technological institution, regulation, education and entrepreneurship required to establish Smart Grid in Indonesia.
  • Gather and initiate cooperation among the intellectual, practitioner and government official in order to establish Indonesia’s Smart Grid concept which is capable to manifest Smarter and prosper Indonesia.
  • To ensure that the concept of Smart Grid in Indonesia is capable to be a solid foundation for the utilization of enhanced technology without dependency towards another country.
  • To ensure that the concept of Smart Grid in Indonesia is in accordance with Indonesia’s goals to establish Smart Living, Smart City and Smart Indonesia.
  • Initiate the effort of socializing Smart grid concept to obtain community support, which could accelerate the concept implementation.

  

PJCI Membership

General

  1. Indonesian Citizens willing to participate in Indonesia development Program.
  2. Academician particularly those who involved or experienced in the electricity and ICT field or from other field such as finance, law, entrepreneur, renewable energy and education.
  3. Practitioner or business people on the field of utilities and ICT as well as experts on utility investment.

Special

  1. Foreign citizens qualified of contributing, sharing knowledge and network for the purpose of organization.
  2. Special member proposed by the Administrator Council and Board of Executive.
