Turkey, as a rapidly developing country needs uninterrupted and cheap energy in order to maintain the successful growth that it achieved in the last 12 years. Keeping the balance between supply and demand in the minimum level will provide both energy saving and decrease foreign-source dependency and more rapid growth of our country.
Sustainable energy saving can be possible with situation analysis of smart grids that can be integrated to the systems, preventing power failures by automatic measuring systems, providing grid safety by taking overload and failure situations under control, including energy sources into the system as well as controlling unmanageable and untraceable consumption and power lots.
Istanbul Grid Congress and Fair which will be held more comprehensively at the Halic 3rd Congress Center between 29 and 30 April 2015 in Istanbul will be organized under the auspices of Turkish Republic Science, Industry and Technology Ministry and Turkish Republic Energy and Natural Resources Ministry and with the support of UGETAM, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakif University and TUBITAK-UME.
GSEF is a truly global federation and has therefore no main address in one country. If you wish to meet with one of us, please write to us.
