The ‘5th Korea Smart Grid Week’(KSGW 2014), annual event for promoting the sharing of the smart grid knowledge across domestic and foreign markets, will be held at Coex for three days from October 14 to 16. KSGW 2014 is hosted by Korea Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy and organized by Korea Smart Grid Association
The 5th KSGW will provide an opportunity to share information for marketexpansion and entry into global markets in line with smart grid industry’sadvancements through a wide array of program.
Especially this year Korea Smart Grid Conference is all the more significant as it will be joined in by world-class analysts from global market research organizations including Frost & Sullivan,Bloomberg New Energy Finance, and Navigant Research. They will analyze theglobal smart grid market, make forecasts on promising markets. Many recognized energy experts in Korea will attend this event. With leaders, academicians, and experts from both at home and abroad to be invited, the discussions will elaborate case studies of the achievements in today’s smart grid industry.

A smart grid standards workshop will also be held jointly with the US Smart Grid Interoperability Panel(SGIP). Participants of the workshop will examine the newest technologies and standards development issues in Korea and the US, and detail out ways to enhance cooperation.
The exhibition ‘Energy Korea 2014’brings together smart grid, battery, new & renewable energy, and green energy technologies, and also enables visitors to take a look at the future energy industry.
