Webinar: RES Support Schemes – Barrier or Driver for a Meshed Grid?

In this webinar, the NorthSeaGrid project consortium will present the main outcome of WP 3 (Regulatory Framework and Support Schemes) of the project. After a quick overview on the different RES support schemes grid access rules for offshore wind in the North Sea, we will discuss possible incompatibilities between the various support schemes and various grid access rules and how this represents a barrier for the creation of a meshed grid. Furthermore, we will discuss how the proposed 2030 Energy & Climate package with its absence of national RES targets may change this.

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, 8 April, from 11h00 to 12h00 CEST.
